Wunder: Fun Way to Carpool

A couple of weeks ago, we've seen people sharing their total Grab expenses for 2018. Some were surprised to see how much money has been wasted just to commute in Manila. While Grab has grown to be one of the most reliable transportation options in the country, we still have a long way to go to achieve a convenient and affordable mass transportation system.

One of the alternatives that commuters can use is Wunder. The carpool app has been operating in the country for years and in 2018, it has seen a huge growth in user base. The growth may have been attributed to the exit of Uber.

The good thing about Wunder is that it rewards its loyal users - be it a rider or a driver. As long as you keep on using the app, you'll reap in weekly rewards that can be withdrawn or be used for your next ride. Just make sure that your profile is validated to be eligible for the weekly rewards.

Being a kuripot driver, I've been using the app to pick up some riders who are also going to the same destination. Not only that I get to befriend some passengers who became my regular riders, but I also get to save money to compensate for my gas and parking expenses. Isn't that great?

For 2018, I was able to save a total of P40,065 for a total of 228 trips! Not bad, right?

I wish that for this year, Wunder and Land Transportation and Franchising Board (LTFRB) will be able to meet and fix any legal issues so that our favorite carpool app could operate freely similar to Grab.

Not yet on Wunder? Click this link in your mobile phone to download the app. We'll both get a bonus once you complete your first ride! Sign up na, mga kuripot!
